Well, I know it has been over a month since I updated this but a lot has been going on. Ian came to spend five days with us before he and his mom went to join dad in Germany. He was SOOO excited to go see dad. They are all there now and getting settled in. We miss them but it is great to have them all together and they should be in Colorado sometime in September so that makes it easier.
Madalyn (Mady) is already three months old and is growing fast. You should hear her giggle and laugh. Usually when her dad is making funny faces at her but even Grandma can get a giggle or two out of her. We have discovered she is very ticklish. Ian really got a kick out of her and tried to share all of his toys with her. She was less than excited about them.
The biggest changes are probably for Brandon and Andrea. Since they haven't updated their blog yet (they are going to soon) I am going to tell first. The first thing is that they are expecting!!!!! Yeah!! We figure Andrea is due around November 8 but she will go in for her first appointment on April 9 so we will find out more then. The second big news for them is that Brandon has been accepted into the MBA/MHA program at ASU. The bad news is that they have to move to Arizona to go there. I am trying to figure out a way they can stay here and go to school there but somehow it just won't work. They will probably be leaving sometime in June to get settled.
My family is growing fast and spreading out. By fall we will have two in Logan, one in Colorado and one in Arizona. Seems really weird to me but we sure are proud of all of them. Alicia and I went in for her SEOP last week (with the school counselor) to do her SENIOR schedule!!! My baby is going to be a senior. I feel really old. She has been picked to do an internship with her interest in special education next year. She is really excited. Only about 10 kids in the whole school get picked so it is a big honor. She is our first to know what she wants to do after high school and to be actually working towards it already. Pretty cool.
