Ali had a digital photography assignment to take pictures of what she did on spring break so I am sharing some of them with you. It was fun to finally make the trip that we were scheduled to do in October of '06 (that didn't work out very well). We flew in Thursday, checked in to the hotel and went out to eat then we crashed. Friday we went to Universal Studios from 9:00 am and got home around 10:00 pm. The rides were great but Jeff and I have both decided we may be getting to old for the roller coasters - they are a lot harder on the body now than I remember when we were younger. Saturday we went to Animal Kingdom and then to Epcot in the evening and then Sunday we went to Hollywood Studios. The rides were great but the shows were kind of lame. It was fun though. Then we went back to Epcot for a few more rides and to see the fireworks that night.
Most of these are pictures around the parks or outside. The upside down house is cool and the McDonalds is the largest in the world.
Animal Kingdom was awesome. We enjoyed the rides but we really loved to see all of the animals. The gorilla was our favorite - he seemed to pose for the pictures. Jeff liked the Rhino peeing straight back.
These are some aerial shots Ali got from the plane. We covered quite a bit of country on our flights - even the arch in St. Louis where we stopped for about 20 minutes.

Holy cow... aren't you popular with the crazy spammers.. Anyways, looks like you guys had a blast! Tell that Ali girl she needs to come out and visit. It seems like ages since I've seen her!
I love that you got the St. Louis Arch. What a great pic! You all managed to pack a lot of things into your days and the photo journal that Ali produced is fabulous. Great photography Ali! You look so cool sitting next to the old man statue.
Don't you think it's interesting, Renee, going on family trips with only one child? It's remarkable to remember how our family grew from one child to two, three, four...five, and with each addition it felt complete until we met our next little member. Then, before we knew it, we were back down to one or two and somehow had empty places in our hearts and hotel rooms. Of course, then we pause to remember that our hearts have actually expanded to welcome in those wonderful new additions, little and big, that have come along the way, and how thankful we are for each and every one of them.

Somehow or other the comments I left never made it through... I loved the pictures and of course Jeff's favorite picture would be the rhino peeing strait back. I personally love the gorilla. He looks so stately and wise.... good thing we can't see what his hand is doing... I'm just sayin'... you have to wonder... Love you all and miss you and would love to have you out.
